COVID-19

COVID-19 has taken a serious toll on all the sectors of life. It has taken millions of lives, crashed economies, affected the education sector and with the new strain coming there is little hope it will be controlled soon.

Vaccines are being given to the Health Care Workers and Elderly People in first world countries. But its still a long way to go for Vaccines to reach third word countries like Pakistan. To remain safe during this period, it is important to take all necessary precautions. Scientists are predicting that the new strain is 70% more dangerous than the previous one and not even children are safe from it. So what can we do? Wear masks and use Sanitizer regularly.

What my idea is that masks should be made available for free. That is the only way, we are ever going to cross this bridge. In this poverty stricken country where people don’t have enough to eat then how will they buy face masks for themselves?

Faisalabad is known as the textile hub of Pakistan and most of the industries have a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Policy through which they give back to the community.

CSR Goals

The goal is to identify such industries willing to manufacture face masks and then they can be placed at public places for people to use for free.
